The Dalby Hub: is designed as a multi purpose facility with separate access on the south of the building from the the church and schoolrooms on the North.
It is a community project part funded by the IoM Lottery Trust and is open daily to visitors from 10am – 4.00pm as a local history exhibition and small village shop.
There is an entrance lobby providing separate access from the Bunkhouse for the shop.
* For those primarily walking the Coastal Footpath (and so moving on early the next day) private use of the Bunkhouse is available from 4pm-10am @ £10 less than the 24hr exclusive rate!
NB>This facility is also available for those staying for more than one night, with the proviso that all personal items and bedding are locked into the cupboard provided during the day, and recognising that from 10am to 4pm others may also be visiting this space and the shop.
We ask that the beds are returned to sofas, and the room left ready for general use each morning by 10am
*Exclusive 24 hour use" : where no one else can access the premises, is available on request at an additional cost of £10 per day .
The Historic Church of St James is still central in the life of our village community. It is used every Sunday evening for worship and during the rest of the week the schoolrooms are often used by the community.
Parking is available on the road
There is space for bikes off road by the wall.

All payments must be made in Sterling.
NB: The Bunkhouse is run as a Community not for profit organisation; after costs all funds go to the on-going maintenance and restoration of the historic building St. James Church Dalby.
Booking Conditions: A 20% non-refundable deposit is due on confirmation of booking, the balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation Policy : In the event of cancellation, your initial deposit is non-returnable. You will also be liable to pay the balance due for all cancellations that occur any later than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date if we cannot re-let the week. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you for cancellations, illness and delays.

- As an Eco Church and community we are seeking to minimise our carbon footprint and so invite you to use heating, lighting and water mindfully.
- Please ensure that lights and water heating are turned off before leaving the building.
- We have 5 recycling bins outside the church for paper, plastic bottles/containers; tins/ foil; Glass, and Cartons and would be grateful if you could sort your waste on leaving and put it into the appropriate bins.
- We have two large compost bins outside the schoolrooms for vegetables, fruit, tea bags & coffee, please don’t put any food waste into the compost bins.
- We provide Eco washing-up liquid, Toilet paper made from recycled paper-pulp, and sustainably sourced local logs for the wood burner. Fairtrade tea and coffee, and Manx milk are also provided.
- At the end of your stay we ask that the rooms are left clean and tidy and ready for the next occupant.
- All guests are responsible for any damages caused to the contents or fabric of the hub
