A little friendship, a little sympathy, a little sociability, a little human toil. . .is needed in every nook and corner. Therefore search and see if there is not some place where you may invest your humanity. Albert Schweitzer

Eco Note : We love sharing the comfort of Dalby with you, so please come enjoy the warmth of our heating .... and how about turning off your own, or at least turning it down whist you’re out ? That would help offset the carbon emissions of the drive out here! PS> If you also car share, bringing friends and neighbours with you..... we’d be well on the way to a healthier and happier planet !
Please note : Our " Dalby Booking Office " is but a grand term for a very amazing family who volunteer to do this out of the kindness of their hearts amongst the busyness of their own lives...... it'd be good if you could please ring them within normal working hours whenever possible.
We don't use a computer booking system, just a note pad and pen, so we don't take bookings for any event ahead of it being advertised.
Also we don't take advance bookings or reservations for things like the Soup Stop, Film afternoons and evenings, Whilst drives, Meditation, etc etc. all of which operate on a donations basis ( for which we are very grateful!!!) . These sessions are all just drop ins.... you're always very welcome to come and join us whenever ...... surprise us!

Other Events and activities
Proceeds from events after costs go to our restoration fund ( we've just got or planning permission to re-frame and double glaze both church windows on the East wall of the church that are seriously rotten due to ongoing water penetration and a determined rodent! We're now in the process of getting a Church Faculty to get the work done .... ) as well as Alana's Gift, to support the Unit at St. Johns Primary School, and The Manx Charity working overseas: Bees for Burundi.
Almost every month we have at least one event : be it a concert, a slide show, quiz night, World Bonnag Championship, speaker or music night, it inevitably has a supper and approx 60 people attending. These nights are fun and fundraising, with proceeds going to the ongoing maintenance and restoration of this unique historic building and 10% of our proceeds after costs go to our nominated charities for the year.
