Starting up again after a long "sun-and-sea-bathing" summer! ....
Sun 6th : Community Cake & Coffee in the Schoolrooms. 10.30 - 12noon Sun 6th Sept : Celtic Evening Prayer at 6.30pm in the church with Cheryl our Minister, unaccompanied singing Wed 9th: Mooinjen Veggey start up at Dalby! 9.30 -11.30 for more details and to book please contact : [email protected] Thurs 10th Meditation at Dalby: 7.30pm 9.00pm , following the practice of WCCM ( The World Community of Christian Mediation )

We'd love you to come and join us, you don't need to have meditated before to join us. Sun 13th: Community Cake & Coffee in the Schoolrooms. 10.30 - 12noon Sun 13th: Holy Communion. 6.30pm. A more traditional service led by Canon Margaret Burrow. Everyone always welcome. Wed 16th: Mooinjen Veggey 9.30 -10.30 Wed 16th: Dalby Soup Stop serving home made soups, bread, cakes and coffee from 12.30pm - 1.30pm. Suggested minimal donation £7.50p, but it is entirely voluntary, we'd love you to join us. Sun 20th Community Cake & Coffee in the Schoolrooms. 10.30 - 12noon Sunday 20th : Taize Worship in the church at 6.30pm 
This is a lovely reflective worship time, using unaccompanied Taize Worship chants and readings. A time to pause in the busyness of the week and to find stillness and sanctuary. Everyone welcome Monday 21st : The Gathering : An invitation for those seeking a deeper closeness with God and with one another, to come gather ( every 3rd Monday of the month ) to share food and time together around the table, starting at 7.00pm....... .

Thursday 24th th : Meditation at Dalby : 7.30pm - 9.00pm Seeking a deeper stillness and silence before God through following the practice of the World Community of Christian Meditation. Meeting at 7.30pm- 9.00pm in the schoolrooms. You don't need to have meditated before to join us. If you'd like to know more please get in touch with Cheryl .
Fairtrade Fortnight responding to Issues of Justice .
Fri 25th : Film Night. 7.30pm Screening : Dark Waters : Cert 12. Inspired by a shocking true story, a tenacious attorney (Mark Ruffalo) uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths to one of the world's largest corporations. In the process, he risks everything- his career, his livelihood and his family, to expose the truth. With Fairtrade refreshments and goods and time for chat and discussion. Sun 27th : Community Cake & Coffee in the Schoolrooms. 10.30 - 12noon Sun 27th: Celtic Communion 6.30pm. Around the fire in the schoolrooms with Rev. Joanna Fisher. Everyone always welcome. Wed 30th: Mooinjen Veggey 9.30 -11.30 October : 
Sat 3rd & Sun 4th : Manx Heritage weekend : Dalby Church, the Schoolrooms and the Hub will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm throughout the weekend with Harvest Displays and Farming Photos, refreshments, flapjacks and Manx Soda Cake. Everyone welcome to drop by for a skeet
Sun 4th: Dalby Harvest Home and Concert Service at 6.30pm with the Lhon Dhoo Male Voice Choir followed by a Dalby Tea in the schoolrooms.

A bit about us...
We have at least one event almost every month, just a time for getting together:
Be it a concert, a slide show, quiz night, World Bonnag Championship, speaker or music night, it will inevitably have a supper. These are the events organised by the Friends of our Church, and usually need booking in advance to help us with numbers for catering. They are fun and fundraising, with proceeds going to the ongoing maintenance and restoration of this unique historic building. 10% of our proceeds after costs always go to our nominated charities for the year. This year we're supporting Autism in Mann & the Manx charity working overseas: The Coral & Pearl Hostels Trust, supporting and helping vulnerable girls in Tanzania by operating safe hostels.
Our "Dalby Booking Office " is but a grand term for a very amazing family who volunteer to do this out of the kindness of their hearts amongst the busyness of their own lives...... to help value what they do for us it'd be really great if you could ring them within normal working hours whenever possible. We're very grateful for your donations to help us cover our running / heating costs. All Proceeds after costs go to the work of the church and our Community Outreach.

We save used stamps for the charity Manx Wild Bird Aid; a registered charity on the Isle of Man that rehabilitates sick, injured or orphaned wild birds and returns them to the wild. Its' work relies entirely on its volunteers and supporters. You can find more details about the work they do at: https://www.wildbirdaid.com
There's a collecting jar in the schoolrooms; we'd be very grateful for any stamps, with a trim of 1cm of paper around it Many thanks!
